This space welcomes the presentation of new books, recitals and poets reunions. There is a small auditorium and letters, manuscripts, translations and rare printings of the poet, as well as several portraits signed by artists such as Auusto Gomes, Júlio Resende, Armando Alves, José Rodrigues and Lagoa Henriques.
The Ateneu Comercial do Porto, Association of Culture, education and recreation, was founded in August 29, 1869 and resulted from the merger of other institutions that don't sell well, founded by merchants and clerks from Oporto. Endowed with magnificent facilities, offers a Hall, general-purpose, library, restaurant, buffet, bar, barber shop, living room, games rooms, billiard saloons and reading room, in addition to the Dom Luis rooms and Doc grape.
Located on the first floor of the Port's customs Building, this space houses the "Painel Ribeira Negra”, a masterpiece by Júlio Resende, dated 1984 and which portrays the life in Ribeira. It was opened in November 2010, joining the commemoration of 150 years of the customs.
Sect in a building dating from the 13th century, where he has worked the first hospital of Porto, currently, this room features various projects such as exhibitions, talks, conferences, among others.
Space that was born from a fusion of ideas between the Mariana Jones Gallery and Extéril. On the lower floor there is a gallery exhibition space par excellence, since it includes tubes and pipes themselves.
