A route where one gets to know the lime extraction that was part of the life in São Vicente during many years, the only place in São Vicente where there is limestone. Thus, an activity that took place until the middle of the seventies is re-created.

Currently it is only found in some North Atlantic archipelagos, namely in Madeira with the largest woods of this kind still to be found in the world. It is both important due to its diversity of flora and fauna species and to the fact that it is well preserved. The UNESCO classified it as Mankind's Heritage in 1999.

Bioria, part of the Ria de Aveiro, is an area with a huge diversity of habitats that host a varied fauna and flora community. To protect this Natural Heritage, trails are being implemented along the seashores and the Salreu Tidal Creeks. The first is the Salreu Route, where you can admire the marshes and cultivated land, such as rice fields. The route is 8.5 km long and can be visited on foot or by bicycle, following the information signs.

The Ribeira de Noura and Curros River flow into the Tinhela River – which flows into the Tua River.

Many trails lead to this place, with a geological phenomenon that results in a natural amphitheatre. Inside the Fórnea there is the Cova da Velha, a cavity with a spring that flows down to the Fórnea Brook.

Discovered in 1955, they are part of a set of caves that exist in the Minde hill. They are configured like a gallery/room and they have a natural chimney. They are filled with stalactites and stalagmites, the largest room has 6000 m2 and they may be visited.
