This characteristic lava tube is one of the main attractions of Porto Judeu, due to its curious characteristics and location. This cave was formed due to the eruption of the Algar do Carvão Volcano. Its name comes from some sedimentary formations on the walls and ceiling of the cave, in needle shape.

Place where several volcanic phenomena take place, as the fumaroles, which send hot gases and water vapors resulting from the infiltration of rain. They are classified as Regional Natural Monument.

An elevation that belongs to the Mount Brasil, considered the largest volcanic unit on the island and it is an area of great scenic and historical interest. There is a belvedere with privileged views of the Ribeirinha Hill, of Porto Judeu and of the Santa Bárbara Hill.

Small lagoon located near a stream in the Serra de Santa Bárbara. It is at a very high altitude, which justifies the frequent fog, the calm and the silence. There are often many ducks in these place that walk among the water lilies, which is why it is also known as Lagoa das Patas.

A dormant volcano, located in the Caldera Guilherme Moniz. One can go down to a depth of 100 metres to get to a lagoon with crystal clear waters. Way down below, a special note to the set of stalactites and stalagmites of volcanic glass. This cave is classed as a Regional Natural Monument.

Pond situated on the slopes of the Serra de Santa Bárbara, inside a volcanic cone. This is one of the ponds more virgins and of greater natural beauty of the island. Highlight is the richness of its fauna and flora.

About peak of 597 meters of altitude, resulting from a secondary eruption of the Serra de Santa Bárbara. In its crater there is an authentic oasis of typical endemic plants Macronesian forest.

The largest volcano in the Terceira iland, at an altitude of 1021 metres. Its caldera has a diametre of 2 km and an approximate depth of 150 metres.
