This necropolis in which the original constitution has about twelve corridor sepulchres, presents a vast variety of architectonic solutions and construction techniques, taking as an example the chamber purely megalithic or the false dome with lateral niches. The building of the Jesuit College was founded in 1660 from the project of Bartholomew Duarte. The College has a church nave, the widest of Portimão. Currently, in the side of the building, bodies are installed the Parish Council, the Museum of painting and the support center for the elderly.
Mandada construir no início do século XVI por Dom Manuel, esta igreja apresenta três naves, quatro tramas, duas capelas colaterais e três laterais. Destaca-se um painel de azulejos rococó e um portal manuelino.
