Paredes

A building located in the town's centre, with neoclassic features. Façade covered by beautiful yellow tiles, except for the entrance that has columns. It has two small houses by the walls. There are two symmetrical lakes with flowing water. The building, that has similar floors, has enormous windows framed by granite where the superior part accompanies the triangular fronton that signals the main entrance.

Nas Minas de Ouro de Castromil encontra-se um jazigo de ouro cujas evidências arqueológicas testemunham que, pelo menos, há cerca de 2000 anos o povo romano desenvolveu, neste local, atividades de extração aurífera. Aqui observam-se numerosos trabalhos subterrâneos antigos e ainda concavidades nas paredes laterais para colocar as lucernas de iluminação.

This is a medieval tower with a square plan that was one a fortified manor with three floors. It has only the ruined structure of its four walls of granite stonework. In the northeast façade, a special note to a window opened to the base and consoles that supported a small balcony. In the main façade, a special note to a door with an arch. The number of visits is limited since it is located in a private house.
