It's worth a stroll around this place of rare beauty, especially with the light of dusk. You can stroll by the river pier and get to enjoy the surrounding landscape of the hills across the River, and even the game of colors of Rabelo boats moored.

The Douro Line, with a total of about 200 kilometers, goes through, in part of the section, very close to the river, offering a wonderful view over the river and the vineyard slopes. There is also, on Saturdays from June to October, a steam locomotive dating from 1925 that runs the section between Régua and Tua stations, on a time travel... a slice of regional salt cake, to the sound of traditional songs. At the Pinhão station taste or buy wines and gourmet products from the region, and admire the fantastic tile panels on the outside of the building.
