The beach is located in the centre of Albufeira and owes its name to a huge rock on the sand. The views from the cliff are spectacular. In the vicinity there are very many restaurants.

After parking the car, there is still a 500 metres walk before one sees the small beach with cliffs that form quite a lovely bay. It has a backup bar with beach views.

Located by a luxury hotel, this beach has fine sand and good quality water. In the summer there are gymnastics lessons on the sand. There is only one restaurant here, with typical dishes and high prices.
