The Archaeological Museum of the Citânia (a celtic village) is located in the Solar dos Brandões (Brandões Manor). The permanent exhibitions show examples of the diggings in the Citânia de Sanfins and the archaeological materials found in the Paços de Ferreira parish. It is known for its activities of specialized investigation, pedagogical support, scientific propagation and cultural intervention.

The aim of the Municipal Museum is to speak of the Paços de Ferreira parish from its beginnings to the current days. It is very focused on furniture, namely school furniture. It also has utensils neede for working the wood and a giant wooden chair that is a symbol of this Furniture capital.

The library has a computerized catalogue on the 2nd floor, where one can search for books, magazines, CDs, etc. On the same floor, one can also find the reading room with free internet service (30 minutes daily). On the ground floor, there is a room a room with audiovisual materials, open from 10 am to 12 am and from 3 pm to 6 pm. There is an auditorium just by it. The Casa da Cultura de Freamunde (Culture House of Freamunde) is a space devoted to the most varied cultural activities in the Paços de Ferreira parish. On the first floor there is the reading room with books, encyclopedias, magazines and newspapers, all organized thematically. In this room there is also free internet.
