The first documentary reference to this temple dates back to 1177 when Vela Rana, heir of Egas Moniz and Teresa Afonso, donates his assets in Lousada at the Savior's Monastery of Paço de Sousa. Subsequently, the patron saint of the Church is documented in 1218 and the Inquiries of 1258. Despite these references, the current building is of moth later, possessing elements of late-arriving from the late 13th century and 14TH century. Having undergone reforms in modern times, saves the ship and the western façade of Romanesque features, in testimony to the persistence of this current on Portuguese medieval architecture. …

The date of construction of this temple is estimated to have been in 1262, judging from the patent application at the entrance, although it may correspond to the reconstruction of an ancient monastery of an eremitical 11th century which, in turn, was erected on a building-7th century Visigothic suevic-archaeological excavations carried out in 1991 revealed ama structure belonging to a pre-Romanesque temple. To point out the existence of an image of our Lady of Meinedo, in limestone and with traces of polychrome, which is one of the rare examples of Romanesque sculpture in Portugal.

Although difficult to date, the construction of this bridge can be between the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries considering the respective technical and constructive characteristics and judging by the references in the Parish Memories of 1758. However, it may have been built in the period of growth of needs of circulation in the region during the 13th century, with the strong demographic expansion, the Crusades, pilgrimages and increasing mobility of the population. Featuring four perfect round arches, their typology is inspired by the Roman constructions.

Although their dating is difficult, it is assumed to have been built during the late Romanesque judging by the constructive technique, presenting a Gothic character around the Board in easel. Formed by a single round arch, with the pillars leaving directly from the banks, which ensures greater longevity of Romanesque bridges in comparison with the Roman, ensures communication between the places of Bustelo and Boim. Sustained conservation works, including the consolidation of the built and the surrounding treatment with access routes, lighting and parking area.

Built between the second half of the 13th century and early 14TH century, the Tower of Vilar is a symbol of Lordly power over the territory and proof of the existence of a "domus fortis", a fortified manor house in Vale do Sousa. It is a five-story building with granite Ashlar. The lighting of this tower was made through loopholes of the Romanesque style and access through an arch with tympanum. Underwent restoration between 2005 and 2006 as part of the Route of the Romanesque of the Sousa Valley.

A stone Sun Clock that is about half a metre wide and stand on a square base that is about 3 metres tall. Even though it is well signalized, it is badly preserved. In the hand's place there is an improvised wire that takes away its value and is surrounded by bushes.
