A neoclassicist chapel, dating back to the 18th century, with a longitudinal plan and the interior decorated with neoclassicist retables. In 1956 the main façade was covered by white and blue tiles. On the left side we can see Saint Anthony and read and inscription that says: "Fábrica do Carvalhinho" (Carvalhinho Factory) and below "Capela de Santo António do Telheiro" (Chapel of Saint Anthony of Telheiro). On the right side we can see an image of Our Lady of Fátima and an inscription that reads: "Restored in the year 1956".

A Renaissance building of the 16th century, that underwent remodellation works in the 18th century according to plans by Nicolau Nasoni. Inside the temple, a special note to some of the most important golden carvings by baroque artists in the north of the country. A special note also to its two bell towers, the main door decorated by a medalion with a shell, and the two lateral niches of statues of Saint Peter and Saint Paul. The Boa Nova Lighthouse began functioning in 1926 and housed the Lighthouse School until 1962. It is the second biggest lighthouse in the country with a tower 46 metres tall. Between 2003 and 2004 it underwent works which led to the construction of a museum and to rehabilitation of the rooms.

The Monastery of Leça do Balio, that already existed in the 10th century, was profoundly altered during the 14th century according to plans by Estêvão Vasques Pimentel. During the 16th century it also underwent several interventions by Diogo Pires, o "Moço" (young lad). The monastery's church, restored in 1930, is one of the most important examples of gothic arquitecture in Portugal. The wedding of the kind Dom Fernando and Dona Leonor de Teles took place here and it was also the first headquarters of the Military Order of the Hospital. It is classed as a National Monument.
