A dam located in the Campilhas Brook (Sado's river basin), near the Vila Nova de Mil Fontes beach and the Pessegueiro Island (Peach Tree Island). Sports and leisure activities such as fishing and swimming are allowed.

Located in the Vale Diogo Brook (Sado's River Basin), this dam is surrounded by the magnificent landscapes of the Alentejo's coast. Some sports and leisure activities are allowed.

A natural reservation sinc the beginning of the century, the Santo André and Sancha Lagoons are a 1.5 km long maritime stretch of land, located in the north of the Alentejo region, to the north of Sines. In this place, one can find several different bird species. The Lagoon also houses a colony of purple herons.

Located by the sea, this dune surrounded lagoon is th biggest set of lakes to the north of Sines. It is about 5 km long and 1 km wide and spreads inland along old rice fields. The red-crested pochard, the mallard, the coots and the black-necked grebes are some of the species that live in this habitat. Ideal for sailing or spending a day at th beach.
