Seixal

Quinta da Fidalga distinguishes itself by its tidal Lake, constituting a natural monument on hydraulic architecture. Its origin dates back to the 15th century, always associated with agricultural and recreational functions. It's rumoured that Paulo da Gama, Vasco da Gama's brother, would have set in the lands of Seixal to witness the construction of ships for the discovery of the sea route to India. Highlight is, to the beautiful garden that lies outside the House.

Can be seen, only the lower two furnace piriformis plant furnaces, with a small access corridor and three arcades of grid support (however felled). Were found discarded materials during the manufacturing process in two pits located south of ovens. Is classified as a national monument.

Também conhecida como Igreja Matriz da Arrentela, foi construída no século XV, mas a sua reconstrução, após o terramoto de 1755, conferiu-lhe um estilo predominantemente barroco. O seu interior, de uma só nave, é revestido por uma série de painéis de azulejos do séc. XVIII, representando cenas da vida da Virgem. No exterior, o miradouro proporciona uma vista fascinante sobre a baía do Seixal.
