The national monument classification includes the tomb of Sir Jorge de Lencastre, son of King João II, in Arrábida marble. Of this temple, the Gothic portal on the main facade stands out, with three archivolts and topped by a large oculus. Church with three naves, crowned with battlements. Special reference to the 17th and 18th century tiles and the high choir.

The fortress stands on the eastern spur of Serra da Arrábida, from which you can see an extensive landscape from Sines to Sintra. Its main points of interest are the entrance, the 17th century walls, the convent of the Order of Santiago, the church of Santiago, from the 15th century, the Paços de D. Jorge, the turrets, the 14th century keep, the ruins of the church of Santa Maria, the parade ground and several portals. There is also the Castle Nucleus, one of the museum spaces of the Palmela Municipal Museum.

Church built between 1763 and 1783 on the site where the Ermida do Espírito Santo previously stood. The main body, with a rectangular plan, features two integrated towers. At the back of the chancel there is an altarpiece in painted revivalist carvings.

During the Reconquista, this hill overlooking the town built a castle, the scene of frequent battles between Muslims and Christians. Currently, there is this hermitage invoking Our Lady of the Castle. According to tradition, the Church was founded by King Afonso Henriques, with a portrait of this king preserved there. The chapel is very long and not very wide, with a single nave, with a stone pulpit and a crossing arch in pink marble.

Very old temple, from the 16th century, with a single nave, with a high choir supported by four simple columns and in which there is a pipe organ dated 1803. The main altar does not have a crossing arch and bears in the center the image of the patron saint, Our Lady of Conception. The royal facade has a royal crown.
