Tapada Real

A space with a perimeter of 18 kilometres, one of the very first "coutos" (hunting grounds) in Portugal. It remains a hunting ground and has a wide architectural heritage that spreads along the two parts of the "Tapada", such as the small houses, the chapels or the palace. Besides the agricultural areas, the gardens and the orchard one can go for strolls and occasionally encounter some wild life.
