Castelo Novo
Located at an altitude of 700 metres on the foothills of the Gardunha mountain, it has roman vestiges. A special note to the ruined medieval castle, with a well preserved donjon, the manuelin pillory, a romanesque house, the fountain of Dom João V and the pombaline the Mother Church. Several manors, a monument carved on the rocks, the Lagariça, and the recent thermae also stand out. The local craftswork includes wood and iron miniatures and regional embroideries.
