Solar da Praça de Santa Maria / Solar dos Brito Pegado / Casa Malta
This Mannerist and Baroque building was built in the beginning of the XVII century and was rebuilt on the XVIII century (after 1755 earthquake). During the XX century it was used as the City Hall and later it was rebuilt and transformed into a residence. In 1977 the City Council bought the edifice and in 2006 here they settle the City Museum.
