A well-known waterfall that plunges approximately 60 meters from the top of the Freita mountain range. It is located between Vale de Cambra and Arouca. It can be appreciated from a viewpoint near Castanheira, on the opposite side of the slope.

This is the world's longest pedestrian suspension bridge, located in Arouca, next to the Paiva Walkways. The name "516 Arouca" refers to its length in meters and the municipality where it is located. Access to the bridge can be made through the entrance to the Paiva Walkways in Aguieiras, and you can park your car in the Areinho car park.

The sanctuary, located at an altitude of 780 meters, is built beside a rugged hill. This site is the stage for one of the most popular national pilgrimages, on September 7th, when the surrounding landscape takes on even more beautiful proportions.

A bridge built between 1876 and 1880 that sought to maintain the architectural style of the old medieval bridge that stood here. It consists of four round arches.

The uniqueness of this temple comes from the monumental height of the nave, with its slightly oval plan and walls, contrasting with the low, rectangular forms of the vestibule and chancel. The portal, topped by windows, is framed and sculpted. The gilded altarpieces and stucco work are particularly noteworthy.

The temple, built in the 16th century, was rebuilt in the 18th century. Inside, a prominent image of Saint Anthony stands out, bearing an inscription alluding to the expulsion of Napoleon's troops.

This is one of the largest concentrations of granaries in Portugal, all built of stone. In total, there are 24 granaries of the Galician-Minho type, the oldest dating from 1782. The sacred character given to the site is evident, due to the crosses on top of the granaries, which, according to local people, are for divine protection of what is stored there, often the only means of community survival.

The Dolmen of Mezio is integrated into the set of megalithic monuments known to Antas da Serra do Soajo. This is an exemplary prehistoric funerary built about 5000 years.

Porta do Mezio is one of the five gateways to the Peneda-Gerês National Park and to the vast mountains and valleys of Soajo and Peneda. It encompasses 3 hectares filled with spaces for young and old, including an adventure park, birdwatching observatory, camping area, swimming pool, restaurant, a children's village, and more.

The Arcos de Valdevez Arts Centre occupies an 18th-century building, classified in 1982 as a Property of Public Interest and known as “Casa do Terreiro” or “Casa do Conselheiro”. The space offers a vast and diverse cultural program and hosts artistic events focused on different themes, such as film, music, visual arts and theatre.
