Located in the heart of the city's historic center and housed in a building that served as a jail for many years, this museum opened in 2001. It features an exhibition focusing on local ethnography and some temporary exhibits. It also features an auditorium.

Modern library consists of a collection of 25 thousand books, 8,000 of whom donated by Augusto Cesar de Carvalho, a former Mayor. In addition to the reading rooms, it also has a multipurpose room that hosts exhibitions and an audiovisual room.

Large, modern space with conditions to accommodate various cultural, social and recreational initiatives. It has an amphitheatre, a gallery, a multiúsos lounge, a bar and a few support rooms.
