This space, located in a noble 17th-century building, displays collections of painting, sculpture, sacred art, and photography. It also promotes cultural excursions, colloquiums, conferences, and cultural evenings.
This museum is the result of a partnership between the Municipality of Cantanhede and the Geração Spectrum Association, which manages the collection of João Diogo Ramos, a native of Cantanhede and one of the leading international collectors in this field. It is dedicated to the ZX Spectrum, which for many was the first personal computer, but also includes other equipment related to this theme.
The museum is housed in a typical 18th-century building, where scenes from the region's former daily life are recreated, along with some related objects.
Housed in a restored and adapted 18th-century building and another building of contemporary design, it features permanent exhibition rooms, a Living Museum area especially dedicated to creative and educational workshops, Stone Exploration and Working Rooms, and two temporary exhibition rooms, one specifically dedicated to the theme of sacred art made in "Ançã stone," an auditorium, and an outdoor garden that hosts numerous activities.
