The Seixas waterfront is a location right next to the Minho River, offering distance from the hustle and bustle of the city and the calm waters of the river, providing good views for those passing by.

From the bridge over the Coura River to the mouth of the Minho River, you can enjoy the stunning river scenery. At low tide, the Minho River practically disappears, revealing the hulls of fishing boats. At high tide, the river reflects the verdant Spanish side in its waters. Those driving along the EN13 can appreciate the scenery, but only on foot can you truly experience the immersive landscape.

Caminha's historic area is extremely picturesque, blending historical/medieval elements with tourist attractions. The Chafariz do Terreiro (1517) in the center, the Town Hall (16th century), and the Clock Tower (a medieval monument from the town's former defensive wall) are the calling cards of this historic town. The hubbub of Galician tourists who fill the surrounding café terraces livens up the city center.

The pedestrian walk may start at the Monastery of Saint João of Arga, after a brief visit of that building. Follow the Vezeira Trail, a typical trail where the cattle used to pass in the days of old. The Arga Mountain has a wide high plain on the top, the Chã Grande. At that point, there is a trail that is signaled by the Clube de Celtas do Minho (Celts Club of Minho), according to the criteria of the Federação Portuguesa de Campismo (Portuguese Camping Federation). It is a small walk.

The public passeio (sidewalk) of Caminha is the perfect place for a relaxing stroll. Located between the automotive bridge (EN 13) and the railroad bridge, this walk offers excellent views of the Coura river. The tallest trees offer plenty of shade for a family picnic.

One of the streets that leads to Caminha's central square is the Ricardo Joaquim de Sousa Street. Ot has narrow streets, artistic facades and nice balconies. It is also the most lively part of town in the evening, specially during the summer.

Caminha is famed for its medieval narrow streets. The Street of Saint João and the surrounding areas invite for a calm stroll.

A trail along the Arga Mountain, eight kilometres long, that passes by the Cabeço do Meio Dia after three kilometres.
