In addition to a permanent exhibition linked to the theme of wine, this Museum includes a tasting room, a wine store, a wine bar and other exhibition and cultural spaces. Its mission is to document and preserve the wine heritage of the municipality and the Douro in general.

The Eduardo Tavares Museum honors and publicizes part of the work of artist Eduardo Tavares. It presents an archaeological nucleus, coming from various locations in the municipality, with assets chronologically dated to six thousand years ago. The municipality's tourist office, as well as a library related to the Douro, are integrated into the museum space.

This ethnographic Museum displays the most traditional and beautiful aspects of the region. A journey through time that reveals the culture, ways of life, traditions and history of these people.
