Located in the old palace of the Baron de Trovisqueira, the Museum Bernardino Machado is a space which seeks to dignify the memory of this illustrious statesman famalicense. The collection consists of multiple cores and depicts the period 1835 to 1944. There's still room for temporary exhibitions and regularly are promoted workshops.

The Centro de Estudos Camillians, housed in a beautiful and modern building designed by the architect Álvaro Siza Vieira, features an auditorium, reading rooms and temporary exhibitions, working offices, reservation and cafeteria, among other spaces. This Centre's main objective is to promote and study the figure and the work of Camilo Castelo Branco, preserving the institution's patrimony, in the fields of bibliography, handwritten documents, iconography and Visual Arts.

The Casa-Museu Soledade Maclean is a space that results from donation to City Hall of Vila Nova de Famalicão art collection of Maria da Soledade Maclean.

The House Museum of Camilo (a 19th century romantic novelist) aims to acquire, research, preserve and exhibit the writer's material heritage.
