Considered one of the prettiest gardens in Portugal, the Gardens of the Casa da Ínsua (House of Ínsua) belong to a manor, the House of Ínsua. Its construction was ordered, in the second half of the 18th century, by Luís de Albuquerque de Mello Pereira e Cáceres, governor and captain general of Mato Grosso, in Brazil.
