This bell tower, built in the mid-19th century, has a quadrangular plan, covered by a stepped and bulbous dome, topped by an iron weather vane in the shape of a flag. On the upper floor, the quadrangular clock dial, made of stone, with Arabic numerals and metal hands stands out.

Manueline church with a longitudinal plan, characteristic of small temples in Baixo Alentejo during the reign of King Manuel I. Highlights include the plastic quality of the main portal and the arched cross vaults with stonework keys and corbels, in one of which the cross is inserted of the Order of Santiago.

Small pilgrimage hermitage with beautiful Pombaline tile panels. Rebuilt in the 18th century at the behest of King João V. The elegance of its main façade stands out, with rococo mortar work. Inside, the Baroque is already fully established in the large gilded and polychrome structures that spill over from the altarpieces.

Built by King Dinis, there are currently traces and remains of the old castle, around two meters high. Being an important historical testimony, you can see the strong citadel and a walled enclosure.

The occupation began in the Bronze Age, with fortification works being reinforced during the period of Arab occupation. It is part of the Castro da Cola archaeological park, which is made up of several megalithic monuments, Chalcolithic settlements and necropolises from the Bronze and Iron Ages.

A simple place with great traditional Portuguese and regional Alentejo dishes. After the chitterling or sheep cheese entries, the lamb stew, the cod "à Mundial", the "açorda" and "migas" or "jantarinhos" (beans or chick peas with bread, similar to the "cozido à portuguesa").

Em nota prévia, fica o aviso que de novembro a março, o restaurante Castro da Cola, em Ourique, só serve jantares com marcação. Na época mais amena, aconselha-se a que almoce no alpendre, inpsirado pela natureza circundante. A zona interior, com lareira, aconchega nos dias frias, mas também resguarda quem aqui passa do forte calor alentejano. A simpatia do atendimento é constante e ajuda a escolher. A oferta de entradas inclui um excelente paio e orelha de porco. Já nos principais, para além dos diversos grelhados de porco preto, sugerem-se o ensopado de borrego com hortelã, a cabidela de galinha, …

O restaurante Novo Coimbra, situado junto à estrada nacional, em ourique, é um ponto de paragem para os viajantes. Apresenta pratos da gastronomia portuguesa servidos com simpatia e competência. As migas de couve e de espargos, bem como as açordas de bacalhau ou à alentejana são as especialidades regionais, acompanhadas ainda pelos secretos de porco preto. Aqui encontra também vitela mirandesa e por vezes veado, mas o prato com mais saída é mesmo o lombo de porco preto com queijo da serra.
