This is one of the most important hill forts in upper Minho. Initially it was occupied in the 8th century a.C, and it was developed afterward during the Roman period being occupied until the 5th century. It presents three wall lines with reinforcement towers and several houses with different plans.

Farm built in the 18th century, who currently works as a unit of Rural tourism.

The construction of this building started in 1520 and lasted until the end of the century. The project is due to John Lee, the younger. Is one of the most interesting works of civil architecture of the time. The façade, facing the square, is formed by two balconies alpendradas with columns that are based on carved lavishly arched colonnades of arches of volta redonda. The encimar facade is a triangular pediment. On the West side, the granite portal, with various sculptures.

Building constructed between 1878 and 1882, taking advantage of some materials of the old convent of Friars Crosier. Is composed of a central body and two lateral, project engineer Alfredo Soares.

Romanesque Palace with Castle features, with quadrangular and differentiated coverage in terrace. Features elevations of two floors and three corpses, topped by a central tower. In the 13th century, there was here an ancient Manor House, couto de Portuzelo. The current building was designed in 1853 by António Pereira da Cunha.

House built in the early 17th century, presenting a facade with sober lines, where stands a stone weapons. Located near to the main body, was built a chapel, where highlights a rectangular frame Mannerist portal, surmounted by a triangular pediment. In the year 2000, the farm was transformed into a unit of Turismo de Habitação.

The date of construction of this building is not known, however, it is known that, in 1862, was here founded the College of our Lady of Agony. After House other schools settled here the Instituto Politécnico de Viana do Castelo, which still works.
