In Oliveira do Douro, Mesão Frio, with unique views to the River Douro and surrounding areas, lies the imposing Casa da Calçada, a pre-18th century Manor House, whose Chapel talk. Today is characterised also by harmonious link between the rustic and modern style. The main house consists of eight rooms and on the outside by the pool, there's a House with two rooms fully equipped. In addition to the activities possible in the interior of the House, the exterior offers swimming pool, garden and tennis court.
This church had its origins in the former chapel of St Peter, which left the necropolis attaches situated in the churchyard where outcrop remains of graves dug into the rock. Inside, the ceiling consists of panels with religious motifs.
Located in the oldest area of the town, this church, dating from the 18TH century, has a cruciform plan and the tops finished off by two chapels. In the lateral chapel can be seen two granite sarcophagi.
