The Museum is owned by the company joiner eborense Mobile galleries San Francisco and aims to preserve the memory of the the art of woodworking. To this end, presents a collection of ancient tools, more or less, worn or replaced by electrical equipment in the execution of various works.

Megalithica Ebora is a heritage interpretive centre eborense that results from a partnership between the municipality of Évora and the Faculty of fine arts of the University of Lisbon in which collaborate with other colleges. This permanent exhibition space encompasses two important periods in the history of the formation of the town-Megalithic period the Roman period.
