A medium-sized church of popular character, with two asymmetrical cylindrical towers, one a bell tower and the other crowned by a spire. The interior features a barrel vault marked by formwork arches. The classification refers to the carved altarpiece and the "carpet" tiles that line the interior.

A Manueline temple whose interior is notable for its frescoes, of popular style and from various periods (from the 16th to the 18th centuries). The coats of arms of Dom Rodrigo de Melo, the 1st Count of Tentúgal, and the Marquis of Ferreira are still preserved in the vaults of the nave and the chancel. A Roman bridge composed of 26 arches spaced by round eyebolts. Although the bridge dates back to Roman times, it is believed to have undergone reconstructions by the Visigoths and Arabs. The oldest ones trace its origins to the Moorish King Iscar, one of the Arab chieftains defeated by King Afonso Henriques at the Battle of Ourique. It is a Cuban landmark as it is the town's only National Monument.
