This space was born from the old house Paixanito, keeping the famous chef de cuisine and the extensive and delicious menu with more than forty snacks based on regional flavors with touches of modernity. Modern and minimalist decor of the restaurant Paixa, along with large Windows letting in plenty of light, make this a very cosy place. At lunch there are special and light cues. Features a wine cellar worthy of reference.
Founded at the end of the last century, it displays archaeological collections from the municipality of Alcácer do Sal, from prehistory to the present day. The exhibited objects from the Iron Age and the Roman period are particularly noteworthy.
Circular castle facing the Tagus River, built in 1194 by Sir Afonso Pais and rebuilt in 1390 by Sir Nuno Álvares Pereira. It maintains the walls of the wall, partly battlemented and with traces of turrets. The entrance door was built in the 15th century and has a round arch. Inside the castle is the chapel of São Brás, which features a pleasant 17th century altarpiece. Belver Castle was the starting point for several actions against the Moors, and also served as support for King João I during the War of Independence.
