A gallery that organizes several exhibitions, namely painting exhibitions.

With the ceilings painted by great XIX century portuguese artists, the building is sited over a armoury from the XVI century. Inside there is a large yard, where you may observe glazed tiles panels telling the history of Portugal.

Roman theatre built in the era of the Emperor August, which suffered remodelling works in 57 A.C. It had about 5000 seats. Abandoned in the IV century A.C., its ruins served the recast of the urban tissue for successive periods.

A church that was financed, partly by the donations of the children that used to wander in the streets asking “a coin to Saint António”. The ground of the small crypt chape lis filled with coins and the walls have sentences wrote by the devotee. This temple was rebuilt in 1767.
