Within this magnificent monument, the extensive walls, the quadrangular turrets, the keep, and what remains of the barbicans are preserved, bearing witness to its defensive value. Rebuilt during the reign of King Manuel I, the armillary sphere, a Manueline-style window opening in the coastal wall, and the royal coat of arms are visible. Inside the walls, vestiges of the Chapel of Saint Michael and a Romanesque colonnade remain.

Formerly the Palace of the Counts of Cantanhede and Marquises of Marialva, this Renaissance building, dating from the 16th century, has two floors and a courtyard with a staircase. In the 20th century, a tower was added to the side facade.

This museum is the result of a partnership between the Municipality of Cantanhede and the Geração Spectrum Association, which manages the collection of João Diogo Ramos, a native of Cantanhede and one of the leading international collectors in this field. It is dedicated to the ZX Spectrum, which for many was the first personal computer, but also includes other equipment related to this theme.

From the convent set of Our Lady of the Conception, you have now ascended to the church, which is believed to have been rebuilt in the 18th century. Notable features include the altarpieces decorating the main altar and the side altars, the walls of the chancel covered with 18th-century tiles of Coimbra origin, and the stone images found in the choir.

Renaissance chapel that underwent the addition of a tower and sacristy. Of particular note is the altarpiece in Ançã stone, attributed to João de Rouen, surmounted by the coat of arms of the Menezes family and depicting Our Lady of Mercy.
