The Mezio Horse Riding Centre has a privileged location, well in the haert of the Peneda-Gerês National Park. It organizes horse riding walks among the magnificent mountain landscapes. The small horses of the Garrana breed are the most used and are usually considered wild because they roam freely during most of the year.

The stadium, with a capacity of 4000 spectators, was opened in 2001. Has third generation synthetic turf, apt for the practice of soccer and rugby. It features six tracks of athletics and adjacent sectors that allow the practice of various disciplines. Is used in home games of the Clube Atlético de Valdevez sportsassociation, founded in 1945.
