Minas de Aljustrel

Situated in the Iberian pyrite belt track Alentejo, composed initially of two mines St. John and dens. Is attested in this mining site since there are 2000 years, albeit with periods of interregnum. To learn more about the mines of Aljustrel will visit the four cores of the Museum, whose goal is to show the evolution of human occupation in the municipality putting emphasis on mining. Find them in the parish of Ervidel, where you can visit the Rural Core, and in Aljustrel, where the Windmill, the Dens compressors and the archaeological museum.
