Museu do Vinho Bairrada

Located next to the original home of Portuguese sparkling wine, where Engineer Tavares da Silva conducted the first studies for the production of sparkling wines in Portugal, the Bairrada Wine Museum, in addition to the permanent exhibition "Wine Routes" and temporary exhibitions of contemporary art created specifically for the space, displays what is considered the world's largest sparkling wine glass (a sculpture 2.60 meters high by Rogério Timóteo and weighing over half a ton). It also exhibits other curiosities such as the largest Portuguese collection of corkscrews (one of the 50 most important in the world, certified by an International Club) and the two largest canvases alluding to wine (each over 7 meters). It also features a wine shop, an auditorium for 80 people with multimedia equipment, a media library, a library, and a food court with a garden.
