The ferry Tranquitanas works for more than 30 years and specialises in fresh fish from the fish market, the "Input da Barca", which is just a few metres. On the menu there is still room for regional dishes based on meat. The house wine from the wine cellar of sinks, has a lot of output. All of this is served in a wooden restaurant, where there is no shortage of marine notes.

No alto da falésia, é já uma referência na Costa Vicentina para quem gosta de marisco, uma vez que apresenta uma qualidade inquestionável a um preço acessível. A sapateira, o arroz de marisco, o arroz de tamboril, a feijoada de marisco ou mesmo a caldeirada de peixe à moda da casa são algumas das especialidades. É frequente servir mais de 100 refeições por dia, e, por isso mesmo não aceita reservas.

O restaurante Tasca do Celso, localizado em Vila Nova de Milfontes, é "tasca" só de nome, porque o serviço e a boa gastronomia alentejana apresentados são de nível. Averdadeira arte vem da cozinha, onde as especialidades são tantas que dificultam a escolha.
