Cantanhede, along with the municipalities of Oliveira do Bairro, Mealhada, and Anadia, belongs to the Bairrada Wine Route. Bairrada, a region of wine and gastronomic culture, is situated between two important urban and university centers, Aveiro and Coimbra. This territory, part of the Bairrada Demarcated Region, boasts a remarkable diversity and contrast of landscapes, where visitors can discover distinct and unique places within a few kilometers.
