"Carmina Burana and Requiem" will be on the stage of Coliseu dos Recreios, in Lisbon, on 10 March 2018, at around 6:00 p.m.
Carmina Burana is the most celebrated work of German composer Carl Orff, and is inspired by a collection of about 300 songs written by clerics and students of the 12th and 13th centuries, who led a life beyond the rules, where love and the pleasures of the flesh assumed a leading role.
On the other hand, the "Requiem" mass is Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's best work and perhaps his most famous composition, based on the texts for the Catholic liturgical act.
