Festa da Castanha

Hundreds of animation artists on the streets, with excellent roasted chestnuts and wine of the region, and also many typical Portuguese handcraft points are part of this party, which takes place between the 11th and 12th November in the village of Marvão.

On a gastronomic level it is possible to find food sausages and cheeses, nut-based sweets, jams, liqueurs, homemade sweets and tents with local products.

At the same time takes place the Festa do Castanheiro - Feira da Castanha. All these are excellent reasons to be present in these celebration days.
