Ammaia Festum - The Rebirth of a Roman City!

From the street markets to the legionary camps, from the gladiator fights to the mythological figures, history is recreated in the ruins of Ammaia, classified as a National Monument since 1949.

The Ammaia Festum, which takes place on 31 May and 1 June, revives the Roman City of Ammaia, founded between the year 40 and 45 of the Christian era, with a historical recreation, street animation, theatre, gladiatorial fights, regional gastronomy, music, dance, comedy, mythological figures, and even a Roman banquet.
