Located in a fishing neighborhood, it has a small sheltered harbor where, as the name suggests, fish that arrived here were once sold. Today it is a tourist beach, with a large sandy area and good quality water. The sea is calm and inviting for swimming.

A sandbar located at the end of the Ria Formosa estuary, accessible by boat or on foot (when the tide is low). Almost untouched, this secluded sandy area is a paradise. Cacela is known for its fortress built in 1770 by Dom Rodrigo de Noronha.
