Located in the Monsaraz Nautical Center, it is located on the Alqueva Reservoir. It is the first beach on the Great Alqueva Lake and has been awarded the Blue Flag and the Accessible Beach classification.

The Center has an anchorage with anchor structure for 12 mid-sized tourist vessels, a bar-restaurant with capacity for about 50 people and terrace to 75, a picnic Park and a children's playground with a multiúsos tower with slides and swings. There is also car hire pedalos, canoes, boating and waterskiing.
