A building dating from the 19th century, currently the official residence of the Regional President of the Azores. Inside, highlights include some 18th and 19th-century furniture and a collection of tiles from old churches on the island.

These gates represent the main entrance to Ponta Delgada and are the true landmark of the city. Their three imposing arches, built in the 18th century, open up to tourists everything that Ponta Delgada has to offer. Next to the City Gates stands the statue of Gonçalo Velho Cabral and the old buildings of the square bearing the navigator's name.

Fort built in the 16th century and altered and expanded in the 19th century. With a polygonal base, it was designed by the Italian Tomaso Benedetti, featuring four bastions at the corners.

The Farol da Ferraria was inaugurated in November 9, 1901, counting with 110 years of history. It is located on Ponta da Ferraria, consisting of a cylindrical tower and an annex building. Has about 14 feet tall.

This Lighthouse went into operation in 1876 and was the first lighthouse to be implemented in the Azores archipelago. In 1955 it was electrified and in 1993 went on to use the public network power.

Monument inaugurated in July 26, 1992, located in the rotunda that separates the Lisbon Street the Avenue Albert Prince of Monaco. Symbolizes the struggle of the people of the archipelago and of the local islanders, in particular, by increasing the region's autonomy vis-à-vis the Mainland.

Preceded by a small fountain, this statue is near the town of Ponta Delgada. The figure has a face that approaches from the traditional representations of Greek and Roman gods, with the projecting wings of a warrior armor.

Erected in the square with the same name, this statue, along with the city gates, forming the main entrance in the city of Ponta Delgada. Gonçalo Velho Cabral discovered the Formigas in 1431, following a first sighted Islands location trip by Diogo de Silves, in 1427. In 1432 landed on the islands of Santa Maria and São Miguel.
