The Center for Environmental Education and Interpretation promotes activities that provide participants with contact with the natural values of the Chifre Protected Landscape. All the senses are put to the test, from smell to taste. The main building comprises a reception area, exhibition hall, workshop, auditorium with a capacity of 40 people, laboratory, documentation center, and technical office. It also has a reception center with male and female dormitories, with a capacity of 40 people, as well as a canteen and dining room.
Located in the 18th-century Casa da Veiga, this space aims to promote the study, preservation, and dissemination of the municipality's cultural heritage, especially its artistic, archaeological, and ethnographic heritage.
The cultural centre is composed of a permanent exhibitions room and two auditoriums. One of the latter is the famed "estúdio" (studio) that plays films every Saturday and Sunday night. The other auditorium, the multi uses room, is used for several different purposes.
The library contain 12000 titles in about 22000 volumes, of which 5% are multimedia and audiovisual documents and thee remnant books. The space has a reading room for adults and another for the children and the teens. It also has an auditorium and a multimedia room with four computers.
