Pillory of quadrangular base.

This “spindle” pillory is inserted in the Revivalist period and it is done in granite and iron. It is crowned by volutes topped by armillary sphere and the Cross from Order of Christ.

This is a Lordly pillory composed by a Roman Milestone.

António Feijó was a Portuguese poet and diplomat born in Ponte de Lima, in 1859.
