Prehistoric rock shelters, where traces of wall representations are visible. It measures approximately 150 m2 in area and averages just 45 centimeters in height. It is decorated with five series of wall sculptures believed to date from two different periods: the first around 1500 BC and the second from the Bronze Age.

Miranda do Douro

A medieval bridge with a flat deck and a maximum width of four meters, it rests on three unequal broken arches, the central arch being the largest. It also features two high cutwaters and schist masonry railings topped with granite ashlars. Located over the Fresno River, it is part of an old road that connected Miranda do Douro to Duas Igrejas. The original medieval construction was rebuilt in the 18th century.

Miranda do Douro

A church belonging to a Baroque convent, remodeled and converted into a Municipal Library, while maintaining parts of its original structure. The convent was built by the Discalced Friars of the Order of the Holy Trinity, with permission from Dom João V. The church was subsequently constructed between 1718 and 1728, and the library was installed here in 1999.

Miranda do Douro

The former cathedral of Miranda do Douro, founded in 1552 by Dom João III, was designed by Gonçalo Torralva and Miguel Arruda. Notable features include its Mannerist façade, bell towers, altars, altarpieces, vaults, and stalls. The altarpiece's sculptures depict, among other themes, the apostles and the Virgin Mary amid angels. Of particular note is the wooden figure of the Baby Jesus in a Top Hat.

Of the original castle, only a portion of the citadel remains, along with some sections of the walls interrupted by turrets, and the Porta da Traição (Traitor's Gate). Several entrances open into the castle's surrounding walls: the Porta da Senhora do Amparo (Lady of Protection), the Porta Falsa (False Gate), and the Postigo. Still standing, but badly damaged, is the keep.
