The Unhais River is one of the many tributaries of the Zêzere river and flows along the hillsides of the parish of Pampilhosa da Serra.

The Zêzere river has its sping on the Estrela Mountain. It is the second major river that flows exclusively in Portugal, after the Mondego river.

A dome shaped dam on the Ceira river, located on the Mondego river basin. It is located on the hillside and it is surrounded by cliffs. It is excellent for mountain climbing and mountaineering.

Place of remarkable natural beauty, very popular for water sports. The island is the result of the confluence of the waters of the river and the River Zêzere Tábua.

This municipality is rich in water resources, namely in waterfalls. This waterfall is located in Vale Covo and is rather high (327 metres). It is fit for recreational fishing in the Unhais river.

On the mountain parish of Cabril, the more than two metres tall waterfall that comes from the Unhais brook (resulting of the encounter of the Estrela and Alforfa brooks) is quite an interesting natural resource but difficult to get to. The landscape includes the Poio reservoir.
