Church initially built in the Valley of the Ribeira de Barcarena. Only in 1736 was built at this location. Highlighting the two bell towers, embellished with an original work in masonry, and for a set of 18TH century tiles that line the nave and the chapel.

Property formerly known as Great Couple, just passing the current description in the 18th century. Suffered damage with the earthquake of 1755 and later recovered. Emphasis on the walls that surround the Palace, lined the tiles dating from the 18th century. Currently, works here the Marques de Pombal Foundation and, in their gardens, there are occasionally some concerts and exhibitions.

Pombal Palace of rectangular plant, built by count of Oeiras and Marquis of Pombal, Sebastião José de Carvalho e Melo in the 18th century. Throughout the building are visible some footers azulejares of the 17th and 18th centuries.

In 1762, with the purpose of strengthening the defenses of the fortress of São João da Barra, proceeded to the construction of a battery consisting of a parapet of masonry to which, years later, added a wall of stone and lime, closing the enclosure. Badly damaged by successive attacks, began to be leased to private individuals. On the occasion of the construction of the Marginal, in 1942, was restored. In 1955 was obtained the evacuation of premises and went on to work as a summer camp.

Built in the 17th century by command of Dom João IV, this small fortress has the royal arms and an inscription concerning its construction above the entrance. Throughout the centuries it had several occupations until it was given to the War Navy in 1947.
