Having as main theme "water", this is a technological center that aims to stimulate the curiosity of the general public and young people in particular on Science and technology. Besides being inserted in the wonderful Convento do Carmo, has distinct spaces: the Laboratory, workshop, Exhibition, Mediatheque and Cyberspace.

Nucleus placed in the former house of road-mender, showing various objects related to the culture and ways of this region.

Space rebuilt in 1968, with regular sessions of european cinema and national on Mondays, Thursdays and weekends. Large space, from which only the audience seats, 472, are used.

In addition to insert in one of the most notable examples of civil architecture in the city, this space was rehabilitated in 2001 and currently works as a dynamic pole of art, culture and education.

Museum placed inside the hotel, it lets know the importance of tuna fishing, namely in Tavira from other times. The maquette of the high sea fishing-net and boats miniatures stand out.
