Tasquinha typical lunches serve, very well located between the area of Martim Moniz and the castle of São Jorge, in the bairro da Mouraria.

Romantic garden from the XIX century with the walkway built over the remains of the Águas Livres walls. It was later covered with Portuguese stone pavement, got a fountain from the Bemposta palace and, in 1904, a monument to Eduardo Coelho, founder of the newspaper Diário de Notícias. Close to the railing, a glazed tiles panel by Fred Kradolfer (1952) subtitles the landscape observed at the belvedere. It has a grove with dense vegetation, flowerbeds and statuary from the Greek-Roman mythology. At the lower section of the garden are French style busts, inspired on “Os lusíadas” and a sports field.

You can get to this interesting ensemble by the Sol à Graça Street, by the Forno do Sul Alley or by the Pereira Alley.

Small garden located in one of the seven hills of Lisbon. In the centre of the garden, on a block of stones, is a monument in blue marble devoted to the Adamastor, legendary figure described in the Lusíadas, opened in 1927.

With its museum, the Carris divulges to the public its memories and the contribution along more than one century to the growth of Lisbon. The Carris museum has two exhibition nucleuses, allowing the visitor a journey through times, with the documents and objects shown: reports, pictures, uniforms, transport tickets, official equipment, lifts, trams and buses.

Here you will find collections of historic cartography, traditional boats, navigation instruments, models of ships and boats, among other curiosities that illustrate the maritime history and activity of the Portuguese. Worthy of notice are the models of ships from the Discoveries period, sailing-boats from the XVIII century and ships with mixed propulsion, from the XIX until the XX century.

The historic-cultural history of Macau on the XVI and XVII centuries is an initiation to the essential and origin meaning of this multiple frontiers’ city. The first section of the museum –“Portugal and China: the beginning of the encounter”- describes the circumstances that involved the birth of Macau.

The three rooms at the São Jorge are already part of the cinema history in Lisbon.
