The Alvalade Park, createc in the beginning of the 90’s, includes the Alvalade wood and the former Quinta do Narigão, in a total of 21ha. The wood area offers leisure, entertainment and sports equipment. The remaining area of the park is a pleasant space with lots of trees, a picnic area, a playground and sports area, namely slide.

Garden for children with traditional musical instruments. In the Summer it is open from 10h-20h and in Winter from 10H-17h.

Garden designed by architect Francisco Caldeira Cabral, ideal space for a stroll. There is here a sign of homage to Professor Sousa Franco, a former professor, a Governor and President of the Court of Auditors.

Included in the Parque das Nações gardens, the different gardened areas associate the botanic with the Oceans Discoveries done by the Portuguese. The garden, with 2500 m2, presents characteristic vegetations from several ecosystems representing the main origin areas of the species, at the discoveries period, in a total of about 2300 plants.
